day one

I'm taking a leap of faith, and putting myself back out in the crazy odd world that we call dating. My first step will be this Saturday, I have conviced a few of my friends to come with me to the club Xbar. I know this first experince will be somewhat of a challenge, I've been joking around with my friend Mimi all week, at the fact that I can't even tell if a guy might be gay or not, let alone if he might be into me. Yes thats right im a late 20's something gay male in Denver, but thats not the point. The first thing Mimi asked me, was if I thought there would be any straight men their, to her answer, yes there are allways straight men at gay clubs, its 2012, drinks are drinks. I am bringing more backup than just my besti, i've got to more member of the "dating" possy, Hershey, who is in the same boat I am, and Chris, who I dont know really well but he seems like he could be part of the crew. I have sent other requests out for crew members to other friends, I think they were a little more supprised that I was acutally going through with this, and the fact that I will be broadcasting my entire experience on blogger. If you have not figured out this by know this blog will be very similar to SEX AND THE CITY, but with out the fancy designer and the NY swag. Instead, it will be down in the reality of the common man and my friends.
